DRY ICE

Dry Ice is made up of carbon dioxide (CO2) in a solid state at -78.5 ° C. When dry ice comes into contact with ambient air, it sublimates (“evaporates”) directly from the solid to the gaseous state. The extremely low temperature makes it ideal for temperature-controlled transport of perishable materials such as diagnostic samples, biological samples, blood and plasma, drugs, organs. Once its cooling function is exhausted, it has no toxicity, does not pollute, has no smell, does not produce residues or humidity on the products.
Innoplus Dry Ice is produced with CO2 that possesses the necessary purity requirements provided for by current regulations.

Dry ice is sold by weight in isothermal Innoplus containers in 16 mm pellet format.
